County Officials Warn of Scam Emails and Calls Targeting Residents

The County has received reports of scammers posing as County building permit staff or Sheriff's deputies on calls or via emails to residents asking for money for county fees or services. COUNTY STAFF DON'T CALL OR EMAIL ASKING FOR MONEY. We use the U.S. Postal service to mail invoices. Please don't provide your financial information to anyone who calls or emails you claiming to be from the County. If you are doing business with the County, please contact us before making a payment. You can find contact info for our offices and departments online.
