Auditor’s Office Seeks Community Members to Serve on “Against” Committees for Measures in the November General Election
There will be elections for Thurston County, South Thurston County Fire District 12, and Thurston County Fire Protection District 17.

OLYMPIA The Thurston County Auditor’s Office seeks "against" committee members for the following November ballot measures:

  • Thurston County Emergency Communication Systems and Facilities, Proposition No. 1, Sales and Use Tax Levy
  • South Thurston County Fire District No. 12, Proposition No. 1, Authorizing Restoration of Previous Property Tax Levy
  • Thurston County Fire Protection District No. 17, Proposition No. 1, Authorization for the Current Property Tax Levy to Remain

Committee members provide written arguments in support of or against a ballot measure that will appear in the Local Voters’ Pamphlet.

Committee member names must be submitted to the Auditor’s Office by noon on Tuesday, August 13 via email at pamphlet@co.thurston.wa.us or in person at 2000 Lakeridge Dr. SW, Bldg 1, Rm 118, Olympia, WA.
