Voter Registration Deadlines for the August 4 Primary Election
Citizens encouraged to register to vote or update their voter registration


OLYMPIA – Below are the voter registration deadlines for the August 4 Primary Election:

Monday, July 27, 2020:

  • Last day for remote registrations and updates to existing registrations online at VoteWA.gov, by mail, or at voter registration drives, etc.
Tuesday, July 28, 2020:
  • Updates or new registrations received by an election official after Monday, July 27 can be done in person until 8 p.m. on August 4 Primary Election Day using the Thurston County Drive-Through Voter Services or Walk In Voting Center at South Puget Sound Community College's (SPSCC) Mottman Campus.
Where to Register or Update Voter Registration:

 To help keep our voters safe during the pandemic, The Thurston County Auditor's Office Elections Division will be hosting their Voting Center at South Puget Sound Community College's (SPSCC) Mottman Campus for the August primary and November general elections. Residents can receive voter services after entering the campus at Crosby Loop SW and Crosby Boulevard SW.
