Notice of the April 26, 2022 Special Election

A ballot will be mailed to all Thurston County voters residing in the participating jurisdictions.

Registration Deadlines:

  • Mon, April 18: Deadline to register or update current registration by online, mail or other remote means.
  • Tues, April 26: Deadline to register/change address in person at the Thurston County Elections Office.

Voter Registration Forms: Available at all Thurston County Timberland Libraries, city/town halls, schools, fire stations, and licensing agencies.

Accessible Voting Assistance is available at the Thurston County Elections Office (drive-through services available), beginning April 8, M - F, 8 am - 4:30 pm and on Election Day, April 26, 8 am - 8 pm, or call to arrange an appointment.

Logic and Accuracy Test: This test is open to the public and demonstrates the accuracy of tabulation equipment. This test will take place Wed, April 13 at 10:00 am at the Ballot Processing Center. Masks are required.

Post-Election Random Audit: Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 9:00 am at the Ballot Processing Center. This test is open to the public and ensures the tabulation system is counting ballots accurately. Masks are required.

Post-Elections Risk Limiting Audit: This is a pilot test for the Risk Limiting Audit. This test is open to the public and demonstrates the accuracy of the election results. This test will take place Tue, May 3 at 9:00 am at the Ballot Processing Center. Masks are required.

Meetings to canvass ballots and finalize the election are open to the public. Meetings are held at the Thurston County Ballot Processing Center, Thurs, May 5 at 4:00 pm and on Fri, May 6 at 1:30 pm. Marks are required. Contact our office for more information.
