OLYMPIA, WA – The Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division mailed more than 65,000 ballots to registered voters in Thurston County for the February 13, 2018 Special Election. The City of Olympia, Centralia School District, Olympia School District, and Yelm Community Schools each have a measure on the ballot. Voters in the City of Olympia, Olympia School District, and Yelm Community Schools will also receive a voters' pamphlet.
Any registered voter living in the City of Olympia, Centralia School District, Olympia School District, and Yelm Community Schools who has not received a ballot by Thursday, February 1 should contact the Thurston County Auditor's Office at 360.786.5408 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the Auditor's Office for a replacement ballot.
There are 19 ballot drop boxes open throughout Thurston County. A list of locations and addresses is included with the ballot and available online at ThurstonVotes.org. These boxes are open 24 hours a day and will close promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13 (Election Day). Mailed ballots must be postmarked by February 13; voters should check mailboxes for pick-up times, as the pick-up time may be much earlier than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
