Ballots Available and Ballot Drop Boxes Open for the April 24 Special Election

OLYMPIA, WA – The Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division has mailed more than 15,000 ballots to registered voters in the City of Tumwater for the April 24, 2018 Special Election. A voters' pamphlet will be included with the ballot. 

Any registered voter living in the City of Tumwater who has not received a ballot by Thursday, April 12 should contact the Thurston County Auditor's Office at 360.786.5408 or, or visit the Auditor's Office for a replacement ballot.

Five ballot drop boxes open today in Tumwater and Olympia. Voters can find ballot drop box locations and addresses with their ballots and online at Ballot drop boxes are open 24 hours a day and will close promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 (Election Day).

Mailed ballots must be postmarked by April 24; voters should check mailboxes for pick-up times. All ballots must be mailed with a $.50 first class stamp. For more information, visit or call 360.786.5408.
