OLYMPIA, WA – The Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division has mailed more than 170,000 ballots to voters in Thurston County for the August 7 Primary Election. Ballots are also available at the Thurston County Auditor's Office, located at 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW, Building 1, Room 118 in Olympia. Districts in this election include the state of Washington; Congressional Districts No. 3 and 10; Legislative Districts No. 2, 20, 22, and 35; Thurston County Offices, Thurston County Commissioner District No. 3; and Fire District No. 5.
Any registered voter who has not received a ballot by Wednesday, July 25 should contact the Thurston County Auditor's Office at 360.786.5408 or email@example.com, or visit the Auditor's Office for a ballot.
Ballots for military and overseas voters registered in Thurston County were mailed on Friday, June 22.
The Auditor's Office has opened 27 secure ballot drop boxes throughout the county. A list of locations and addresses is included in mailed ballot materials and available online at ThurstonVotes.org.
Mailed ballots must be postmarked by August 7. Voters are advised to check mailboxes for pickup times to make sure their ballots will be postmarked by Election Day. No stamp is needed to mail your ballot. If you miss your mail pickup time, ballot drop boxes are open until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7 (Election Day).
