Ballots Mailed to Military and Overseas Voters for the November 6 General Election
Olympia, WA – The Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division has mailed General Election ballots to military and overseas voters registered in Thurston County.
Federal law requires election officials to mail ballots 45 days in advance of Election Day to provide military and overseas voters with ample time to vote and return their ballot. Ballot declarations must be signed and dated by Election Day or received via email or fax by 8 p.m. Pacific Time on Election Night.
For voters not in the military or living overseas, we will mail your ballot on October 17, twenty days before Election Day.
Races on the ballot include Thurston County, statewide, federal, and judicial offices.
Military and overseas voters who have not received a ballot by Wednesday, October 10, 2018 should contact the Elections Division at 360.786.5408 for a replacement ballot.
