Auditor’s Licensing and Recording Services Closed, Election Services Open, on Monday, October 8

OLYMPIA, WA – The Thurston County Auditor Licensing and Recording services will close to the public on Monday, October 8 for staff training. Licensing and Recording services will re-open with normal business hours on Tuesday, October 9 at 8 a.m.

The Auditor's Elections services will be open for regular business hours (8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) on Monday, October 8, since it is also a key voter registration deadline. Monday is the deadline to register or update voter registration information online or by mail.

"Banks and title companies close for the holiday, making it our slowest day of the year for Licensing and Recording services, with the least impact on the public. We use this day for staff training," says Mary Hall, Thurston County Auditor. "Given the holiday aligns with a key voter registration deadline, our Election services, including voter registration, will be open."

For immediate vehicle and vessel licensing needs, customers can visit one of the eight local subagents located throughout Thurston County.  For a complete subagent listing and their hours of operation, visit our website.
