Assisted Voting Available to Help Voters with Disabilities Cast Ballots in the General Election

Olympia, WA – Voters who would like assistance casting their ballots may use the AutoMARK™ assisted voting device, available at the Thurston County Auditor's Office during business hours:

  • Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 6 (Election Day), 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Elections officials will also take the AutoMARK™ assisted voting device into the community to increase access to voting in Thurston County.

Saturday, October 20
11 a.m.: Ramblin Jacks (520 4th Ave E, Olympia)

Thursday, October 25
9:30 – 10:30 a.m.: Panorama CNR (1600 Sleater Kinney Road SE, Lacey)
11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.: Panorama Assisted Living (1800 Sleater Kinney Road SE, Lacey)

Friday, October 26
10 – 11 a.m.: Olympics West Senior Living Community (929 Trosper Road SW, Tumwater)

Voters must bring their ballot with them. No reservation is needed.

The AutoMARK™ is a voting assistance device that enables voters with visual impairments, cognitive/learning disabilities, illiteracy and/or limited mobility to vote secretly and independently. This device can read the ballot to the voter, magnify the print on the ballot, and mark the ballot for the voter.
