Event assists citizens in filing documents to become candidates for local elected office
OLYMPIA, WA – The Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division welcomes citizens interested in becoming candidates for local elected office to the "Candidate Filing Workshop" on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ballot Processing Center in Tumwater.
Seventy elected positions are on the ballot this year. Offices include Port of Olympia commissioner, city and town council members, school board directors, fire commissioners, parks and recreation commissioners, and cemetery district commissioners.
