Auditor

A special three-day filing period will be held Wednesday, May 28 through Friday, May 30 to allow citizens to run for elected office for positions without candidates. Candidates that file during the three-day filing period move directly to the General Election.

Open positions include: 

  • Town of Bucoda, Town Council Positions No. 3 and 5 
  • Tenino School District No. 402, School Board Director, District No. 1 
  • Cemetery District No. 2 (Yelm), Commissioner, Position No. 2

The order of candidates moving directly to the General in Thurston County will be determined by random lot draw as required by RCW 29A.36.131. The random lot draw will be held shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30.
