Fair Board
This resident group volunteers help Thurston County in the coordination of the annual Thurston County Fair. Meetings are the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Expo Center at the Thurston County Fairgrounds. There is no August or December meeting.
Fair Board Members include Kathie McWaid, Paul Longwell, Heidi Thomsen, Kya Ramirez, Meren Gadman, Lance McElroy, Don Wadsen, Oscar Hernandez, Mike Rendon, Linsey Lyons, Justin Wikoff, Kolton Nash, John Murphy, Kari Ahrens, Baylee Ahrens, Dianna Torres, Chris Pettit, and Rayanna Wisner.

Calling all high school leaders! Want to help shape the future of the Thurston County Fair?
We are looking for passionate, community-minded youth members (ages 16+) to join the Thurston County Fair Board! This is your chance to go behind the scenes, make your voice heard, and help plan the best week of the summer.

What’s Involved?
Term: 1-year commitment.
Meetings: Monthly board meetings, plus collaborative committee work on projects you care about.
Eligibility: High school students (ages 16+ preferred) who reside in the county and want to make a difference.
