Internship Opportunities

The Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's internship program enables college students to gain first-hand exposure to the criminal justice system and local law enforcement in Thurston County. Students work closely with Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys and other staff who are investigating and prosecuting criminal cases, providing support to crime victims, exploring criminal justice data, assisting with investigations, and analyzing pending legislation, among other tasks. Internship assignments will be based upon the student's interests and skills as well as the needs of the office.

Our office offers opportunities for both undergraduate and legal internships throughout the year. We are now accepting applications for Summer 2024 and Fall 2024.
