Barbra Villona, MD, MPH&TM, DTM&H, FACEP, brings a wealth of medical, public health, and global development insight to Thurston County. With 30 years of experience as a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Villona has a deep understanding of clinical medicine and community health. She has spent a large portion of her career working and teaching in Africa and the Middle East and has served as a Deputy Public Health Officer in Oregon. She has been in her role as Thurston County Health Officer since December 2025.
