Public Comment on Revisions to Food Service Code for Thurston County Article I & Article II
Thurston County Public Health & Social Services’ Food Code for Thurston County Article I & Article II is being revised due to the recently adopted changes to WAC 246-215 and to update the code to match department policies. Article II must be at least as stringent as, the recently revised WAC.
Environmental Health has revised Article II to align with the updated WAC, incorporate existing polices, and clarify local requirements. The proposed draft was shared with the Thurston County Board of Health (BOH), with a public hearing during the August BOH meeting.
