HazoHouse Reuse Program
Thurston County Solid Waste is committed to its goal of waste reduction, reuse, and recycling. The HazoHouse Reuse Program is designed to reduce the volume of hazardous items that must be treated and disposed of, while providing Thurston County 501(c)(3) nonprofits the opportunity to receive usable products at no cost. Before being released to the public, reuse items are inspected and deemed eligible by staff to ensure that they are in their original containers, have at least ¾ of the product left, and provide legible labels, warnings, and usage information.
Items for reuse may include:
- Household Cleaners
- Soaps
- Detergents
- Automotive Cleaners & Oils
