About the Thurston County Law Library

The Thurston County Law Library is organized under chapter 27.24 of the Revised Code of Washington and governed by a board of five trustees. The current trustees are:

  • Commissioner Carolina Mejia, Thurston County (Ex officio)
  • Hon. Allyson Zipp, Thurston County Superior Court (Board President)
  • Hon. John Skinder, Thurston County Superior Court
  • Marie Docter, Esq., Thurston County Bar Association
  • Michael Young, Esq., Thurston County Bar Association

The Board has appointed Matt Morbello, staff attorney for the Superior Court, as the Librarian and Secretary to the Board.
