Specialized Recreation - Fine Arts Fridays Registration Required

Join the Specialized Recreation program at the Olympia Family Theater for dancing, singing, and acting. Classes will be limited to no more than 15 students.  Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement. Snacks and water will be included.

10/11/2024 AND

10/25/2024 - must attend both sessions

 Acting Part #1 - This Olympia Family Theater taught class, students will learn basic acting skills such as character development, stage directions, and projection
Acting Part #2. - Students will prepare a short performance piece, in addition to working with props, and simple costumes.  The last 1/2 hour of this class will be a parent, caregiver, friend performance. 
11/22/2024 Song and Dance -  Learn choreographed dance moves that complement the lyrics of popular music. 
12/13/2024 Holiday Stories -  Explore a favorite holiday story through acting.
