Join our Environmental Health Division for a Healthy Yard & Garden Workshop. This free workshop focuses on how to create and maintain a safe and healthy yard for a healthier community. Join us to learn ways to prevent pest and weed issues and how to choose the safest products if problems arise. We’ll share information about choosing plants that thrive in our area that are low-maintenance and adapted to our climate.

When: Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 01:00 PM 

Where: Yelm Community Garden at Yelm City Park - 206 2nd Street SE, Yelm, WA

Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on for the workshop. Light refreshments will be served. 

We offer a free "Pesticide-Free Zone" yard sign to participants as part of this workshop for those who pledge to eliminate hazardous pest and weed control products in their yard care.
