Thurston County facilities are now open to the public with restrictions, including maintaining physical distancing of at least six feet at all times and, per the Washington State Secretary of Health’s face covering order wearing a cloth face covering or mask. If you come to county facilities, please be prepared for potentially long wait times or lines due to distancing guidelines. We continue to encourage residents to access county services online, by phone, by email, or through the use of drop boxes located outside of county buildings.

  1. ​You must complete the Public Safety Testing application and follow their application process.
     
  2. Public Safety Testing will forward the top 24 test results to Medic One for review.
     
  3. You will be required to complete the Thurston County Paramedic Application Packet.
    This MUST be a complete packet submitted to our office by October 26, 2020 at 5:00 PM
    (Only completed applications will be accepted).
     
  4. You will be notified if accepted to take the written test the week of October 26, 2020. You will be given testing instructions on date and location.
     
  5. Successful candidates will be invited back for oral board interviews.
