County to Host Open House on Proposed Black Lake Quarry Land Use and Zoning Amendment
Community invited to learn about and comment on the proposed rezone.

OLYMPIA – Thurston County will host a come-and-go open house about the proposed Black Lake Quarry (Littlerock) Land Use and Rezoning Amendment on Monday, April 28 from
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at McLane-Black Lake Fire Station 95. County staff will be onhand to provide information about the proposed changes, and answer questions, although no formal presentation is planned.
 

What: Open House on Black Lake Quarry (Littlerock) Land Use and Zoning Amendment
When: Monday, April 28, 2025
Time: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Drop in anytime between those hours.
Where: McLane-Black Lake Fire Station 95, 5911 Black Lake Blvd SW in Olympia, WA.

Black Lake Quarry (Littlerock) Land Use and Zoning Amendment: A landowner requested a land use and rezoning amendment to change zoning of approximately 270 acres at 4741 88th Ave SW, from residential zoning (Rural 1/20) to industrial zoning (Rural Resource Industrial).
