Join the Fix-it-Fair in Thurston County!

OLYMPIA – Help reduce waste and keep usable items out of the landfill at Thurston County’s upcoming Fix-it-Fair! Thurston County Solid Waste and the Lacey MakerSpace invite community members to bring broken items like toasters, jewelry, clothing, bicycles, or lamps, to be repaired for free by skilled volunteers! This is a great way to help your community while learning repair skills that save money and reduce waste. 

Event Details:

When: Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 3pm-6pm

Where: St. Martin’s University Campus, Zaverl Hall (Building 5), Baran Dr SE, Lacey, WA, 98503

The ability to fix non-recyclable materials is crucial to saving materials from landfills and helping residents learn how to do their own repairs.

  • Tools 
  • Bikes
