2025 Second Half Property Taxes Due October 31
Payment may be made online, in person, or mailed by due date 

OLYMPIA – The deadline to pay 2025 second half property taxes is Friday, October 31, 2025.

Options to pay property taxes include:

  • Online: Pay online at www.thurstoncountywa.gov/departments/treasurer. There is no additional charge for an electronic check payment, but there is a 1.0% transaction fee for a debit card payment and a 2.3% transaction fee for a credit card payment. Thurston County does not receive any of the fees charged.
  • Mail: Checks or money orders may be mailed to the Thurston County Treasurer at the address below. Payments must be postmarked by October 31, 2025.
  • Drop Off: Payments may be dropped in the green drop box located near the flag poles outside the Thurston County Atrium building at the address below.
  • In Person: Payments may be made in person at the Treasurer’s Office during business hours at the address below. The same credit/debit card fees apply as with online payments.

As required by Washington State law, late fees will be charged for those who do not make their tax payment on time.

Property owners may also sign up for paperless billing to receive future property tax statements electronically, saving paper and postage. Those who create an online account have the option to set up automatic payments or schedule a tax payment in advance.
