Take Your Child to Work Day 2025 was a huge hit for Thurston County Public Works. Our team showed up to help run the show and to bring the kiddos to see what type of work we do.

Kids got to vote for the official ice cream of Thurston County, which turned out to be Cookies and Cream.

Some lucky kids won the rock, paper, scissors contest to be a Commissioner for the day.

Each child received a passport to get stamped at the different interactive stations.

We can't wait to do it again next year.
