Thurston County Clerk, Linda Myhre Enlow, Announces Changes in Service
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Olympia, WA — February 27, 2026 — The Clerk’s Office remains committed to delivering services that support all court users—especially self-represented litigants—and to promoting the efficient operation of Superior Court. Despite recent budget reductions and the resulting loss of staff, we have worked diligently to continue offering several non-mandated services, including Ex Parte, Bench Copies, Legal Forms and Packets, and our Facilitator Program.
After a thorough review of our operations and available resources, we have determined the following changes are necessary:
1. Ex Parte services will be suspended effective March 16, 2026, until further notice.
2. Our lobby doors will now be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., allowing users to drop off filings earlier in the day.
We will continue to regularly evaluate our operations and service levels. However, additional non-mandated services may need to be suspended in the future to ensure we can meet our statutory and mandated obligations.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate these challenges.
