​What is the Accessible Community Advisory Committee?

The Accessible Community Advisory Committee (ACAC) is committed to improving accessibility, raising awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities in Thurston County through education and barrier removal. The ACAC also advises the Auditor's Office on ways to increase voter access to election information and programs. Prior to December 2021, this role was performed by the former ​Voting Accessibility Advisory Committee (VAAC).
