Grand Mound Subarea Plan
Recent adoption of amendments
On December 12, 2023 the Board of County Commissioners took an action to adopt the grand mound subarea plan, code changes to lot widths and design guidelines for the grand mound UGA, and 4 site-specific land use and zoning amendments (Steelhammer, Fire District, Morgan Dental, and Tribal Trust Lands).

The Grand Mound Subarea Plan guides growth and development for the Grand Mound Urban Growth Area over the next twenty years. An update is currently in progress to consider 5 citizen land use and rezoning applications - 3 of which request an expansion to the Grand Mound Urban Growth Area.
