Superior Court

Main Campus

The Thurston County Superior Court is now accepting proposals for changes to its local court rules. Proposals for changes will be reviewed by the Board of Judges and, if adopted, become effective September 1, 2024. Written proposals must be submitted by February 16, 2024, to be considered. You can submit proposals by email to Matt.Morbello@co.thurston.wa.us (include “Local Court Rules” in the subject line) or by regular mail to his attention at the courthouse. Covid-19 and Other Public Health Topics

Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, the Superior Court modified operations based on input from local public health.  The Court continues to receive regular updates from public health.  Based on current conditions, neither social distancing nor the wearing of facial coverings is required at our courthouses.   The Court encourages individuals to be aware of their circumstances and make individual decisions regarding protecting their health.  Remote participation continues to be available for many types of court proceedings and jury service deferrals may be requested based on individual or household health circumstances.
