Planned Rural Residential Development (PRRD) Amendment

The Planned Rural Residential Development (PRRD) Amendment, also referred to as the "Cluster Policy Amendment", is a citizen-initiated amendment to rural cluster policies and regulations. Clusters are subdivisions that allow for smaller lots than those allowed in conventional subdivisions to be concentrated on a portion of a parcel, and in return provide a larger open space area on the rest of the parcel. The applicant (Barnett-Tenino Ranch) requests an amendment to the Thurston County Code to remove the maximum project size of 100 acres for Planned Rural Residential Developments (TCC 20.30A.031). There may also be associated policy changes within the Thurston County Comprehensive Plan or UGA Joint Plans.

This item was first officially docketed by the Board of County Commissioners in 2017, and has been officially docketed since. It is titled "CPA-15, Barnett - Cluster Policy Amendment".
