Thurston County Superior Court issued Emergency Order No. 5 on July 10, 2020 and Amended Emergency Order No. 8 on January 14, 2021. Emergency Administrative Order No. 5 with attachments can be found here, Emergency Administrative Order No. 8 pausing criminal jury trials until at least March 1, 2021 and civil jury trials until at least June 7, 2021 can be found here. Below is a non-exhaustive list of actions at Thurston County Superior Court Main Campus to ensure that the Court addresses the health and well-being of court employees, litigants, attorneys, and the general public while performing its constitutional and statutory duties.
Hours
Superior Court Main Campus is open Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Court Administration is open Monday- Friday 9:00 a.m.- Noon and 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Trials

Judge's Copies at Main Campus
Requirements
for Judge's Copies at Main Campus are currently suspended but may be
reinstituted and/or modified. Updates regarding
requirements for Judge’s Copies will be posted here when they are available.
Civil Ex parte and Emergency Matters
The processes outlined in the links below
will be followed until further notice. Even as the Main Campus Courthouse
expands operations, there is currently no in-person civil Ex Parte
available at Main Campus Courthouse (including no available in-person civil Ex
Parte on Friday morning civil motions calendars).
Civil Motion and Dispositive Motion Calendars
Main Campus is hearing dispositive motion and civil motion calendars on Fridays. The Court has imposed caps on the calendars, and the assigned Judge will determine whether each matter will be heard on the pleadings or telephonically, or whether it may need to be rescheduled to comply with health directives. Calendars will be limited to 12 motions on the Civil Motion Calendar and one motion on the Dispositive Calendar. Friday Motion calendars will not be available for ex parte.
