WA State “Green Jobs” DVD Wins Prestigious Telly Award

WA State Departments of Ecology and General Administration, along with Renton Center for Excellence in Construction and Pacific Mountain Alliance for Innovation-WIRED, are proud to announce receipt of a bronze ‘Telly Award’ for excellence in video programming for Education and Government Affairs. With nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and the world, this year’s 30th anniversary has been one of the most competitive in the history of the Telly Awards. http://www.tellyawards.com/ "Green Building: Jobs of the Future" offers a fast paced look at ‘green’ opportunities in the construction industry. The film brings together local and national entities to make the case for green building’s capacity to create jobs and boost the economy. Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials, programs, film and video productions, as well as web commercials, videos and films. Winners represent the best work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world.

The competition was judged by 350 accomplished industry professionals. Entries do not compete against each other; but are judged against a high standard of merit.
