Join us at the free event starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Capital Christian Center
OLYMPIA – The 2017 Emergency Prep Expo theme is “Methods of Communication in Disasters” and Thurston County Emergency Management staff want to help you get the tools, tips, and information you need to get you and your family “ready” for emergencies and disasters.
While South Sound first responders and Thurston County Emergency Management officials are ready to respond to earthquakes, heavy rain, snow, extreme winds or flooding this winter, each resident should also be prepared to respond to severe winter storms and other natural disasters and emergencies. Come to the Expo and learn more!
The free event begins at 10:00 a.m. and every attendee will receive a free Kit-Man safety bag with instructions on how to create your own emergency response kit. Dozens of vendors will also be on hand with information and demonstrations on everything you need to prepare, respond, and recover from the next disaster.
