OLYMPIA –Thurston County is inviting the community to participate in the process of updating the County’s Shoreline Master Program.
County officials are hosting a series of community stakeholder meetings to take comments on the proposed updates as well as educate residents on the Shoreline Master Program.
The next meeting is on November 30, 2017 in Building 1, Room 152 of the Thurston County Courthouse Complex, at 2000 Lakeridge Dr. SW in Olympia.
What: Community Stakeholder Meeting – Proposed update to the Shoreline Master Plan

The Shoreline Master Program currently being used by the County has been in place since 1990. New rules from Washington’s shoreline regulatory body, Department of Ecology (DOE), have led to updates to shoreline programs in counties throughout the state.
