County Up Close Newsletter
The County Up Close newsletter is a quarterly publication providing citizens with information about commissioner actions, department and office updates, and employment opportunities.
Citizen Engagement Tool
On March 8, 2018 Thurston County launched a citizen engagement tool. The first topic was all about the County budget, allowing citizens to learn about and provide feedback on how they would allocate funds for County business.
The newest story is all about the Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP). Citizens can learn about the what, why, how, and when of an HCP and where the County is at in the process. New topics will be announced as they are developed.
County Feature Stories and Videos
Included on the new webpage is a County News section. Here citizens can find detailed news and feature stories, video stories, and future Thurston County Connection television shows.
These stories will also be shared on the County's social media channels at:
The County is exploring subscription options for the news page so citizens can be notified when new information is posted.
