OLYMPIA –Find the tools, tips and information you need to get you and your family ready for emergencies and disasters at this year's Emergency Preparedness Expo scheduled for Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10:00 am. to 2:00 p.m. The theme of this year's expo is 'Disasters Happen…#Preparenow.'

Every attendee will receive a free Kit-Man safety bag with instructions on how to create your own emergency response kit. Dozens of vendors will also be there with information and demonstrations on everything you need to prepare, respond and recover from a disaster.
Thurston County Emergency Management encourages all residents to prepare for natural disasters and emergencies. The Emergency Preparedness Expo is a great way to begin preparing you and your family.
