OLYMPIA –Thurston County is working on an update to the codes that regulate building and development on shorelines within the County's jurisdiction, and citizens are invited to participate in the process. The next event is a community open house scheduled for December 19, 2018.
What: Open House on Proposed Updates to the Shoreline Master Program
When: Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Where: Thurston County Courthouse, Building 1, Room 152, 2000 Lakeridge Drive, SW, Olympia

The current Shoreline Master Program was adopted in 1990. New rules from the Department of Ecology have prompted updates to shoreline programs in counties throughout the state, including Thurston County.
