Washington 4-H International Exchange is Looking for Host Families
Hosting dates are July 26 – August 21, 2019

OLYMPIA - Do you have room in your life and home for an amazing cultural experience this summer? Washington 4-H International Exchange is looking for some great host families to host a youth delegate from Japan for a four-week homestay.

Youth delegates are ages 12-17 and eager to make new friends, improve their English, share their culture, and experience real American family life in Washington.

Host families need to have a child of the same gender and within 3-4 years of the delegate’s age. Host families must also provide a bed and meals. No special activities are required, and host families do not need to be members of 4-H.

Want to take advantage of this amazing opportunity? Apply online to be a 4-H International Exchange Host Family at: https://www.states4hexchange.org/

Thurston County 4-H is pleased to have the support of Thurston County Government, in partnership with Washington State University. For more information contact Washington 4-H International Exchange State Coordinator, Dianna Ullery at 360-867-2153, dianna.ullery@wsu.edu.
