OLYMPIA – The Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing to receive public testimony on proposed updates to the Tumwater Joint Plan on Tuesday, September 28, at 3:00 p.m. in Building 1, Room 280 of the Thurston County Courthouse Complex, 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW in Olympia. A video conference option will be available in addition to in-person attendance.
The proposed amendments include several site-specific land-use and zoning amendments and expansion of the Airport Hazard overlay in the Tumwater Urban Growth Area (UGA) and rural county. Also included in the update are several proposed code changes.
