Capital Improvement Program:
The CIP is Appendix G of the Thurston County Comprehensive Plan. The CIP is updated annually to provide information on planned capital facilities projects for the coming six years.
Places of Worship Code Amendments:
This proposal is a citizen-requested amendment and is listed as CR-5 on the 2020-2021 Official Development Code Docket. The proposed amendments would change the Olympia UGA zoning code in Thurston County Code (Title 23) to expand certain types of associated uses that may occur in a Place of Worship. Some options consider expanding the zoning districts where dormitories associated with Places of Worship may be permitted, include regulatory standards that would limit the size of dormitories associated with Places of Worship, or look at other types of associated uses such as guest houses and single room occupancies.
