OLYMPIA – The Thurston County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Wednesday, December 1, at 7 p.m. to accept public comment on proposed changes to Low Impact Development (LID) codes. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the public hearing will be held via Zoom. Meeting information will be posted on the Planning Commission webpage the week before the public hearing.

This is a limited-focus amendment to portions of the LID codes adopted in 2016 to correct inconsistencies and update regulations that are difficult to implement. The proposed amendments will also include new definitions, updated references, and process improvement changes to simplify the overall review process for the property owners. This is item A7 on the Official Development Code Docket.
