Fire Evacuation Drill to Impact Thurston County Facilities
Drills set to happen Wednesday, September 8

OLYMPIA – Some offices of Thurston County government will briefly close Wednesday, September 8, at 1 p.m. for a fire evacuation drill. The drill should take less than 30 minutes.

What: Fire Evacuation Drill
Where: Thurston County Courthouse Complex, 2000 Lakeridge Dr. SW in Olympia
When: Wednesday, September 8, at 1 p.m.
Duration: Less than 30 minutes

During the drill, courthouse visitors will be given an explanation of what is happening. It will be their choice to either be guided to gathering areas or wait in their vehicles until the drills are complete. The drill will be brief, and we appreciate the patience of the public as we practice our reaction to an emergency.
