OLYMPIA - The Thurston Mason Regional Support Network today issued a request for proposals from community health providers for mental health services for children and families in Thurston and Mason counties. The deadline for bid proposals is 3 p.m. Monday, September 17.
The Thurston Mason Regional Support Network, or RSN, is looking for non-profit organizations that can provide Multisystemic Therapy for severely behaviorally challenged and substance abusing juvenile offenders age 12 to 17.
Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is a family-oriented, home and community-based model that focuses on both the behavior of the juvenile offender and support and resources for the family. RSN is seeking bidders that can provide master's-level, MST-trained therapists who will have caseloads of four to six clients, and provide 24/7 services for each client family of approximately 60 hours of service over four months.
Bidders must be licensed by DSHS as Community Mental Health Agencies for case management services and for counseling and psychotherapy services. They must have an established facility in Thurston or Mason county and be a licensed 501(c)3 non-profit in Washington state.
