Free Workshops: Design and Install Your Own Rain Garden, April 18 and 25

Join Stream Team and WSU Native Plant Salvage for a FREE two-part workshop to learn how to add a lovely rain garden to your yard. The workshops will provide all the details you'll need to design and install a rain garden to help manage your home's stormwater runoff while protecting local water resources. Sessions are from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 18 and Thursday, April 25 at the Tumwater Fire Hall on Israel Road.

The first workshop will focus on developing a sizing and planting plan that is right for your home landscape. At the optional second session, participants will receive assistance reviewing draft rain garden plans they learned to create in the first workshop.

Space is limited. To register, go to www.streamteam.info/getinvolved/calendar For questions, contact WSU Native Plant Salvage at 360-867-2166 or email nativeplantsalvage@gmail.com
