Thanks to the warmer weather and the sunshine, native plants and weeds are beginning to encroach on the popular nature trail at McLane Creek. Stream Team and WSU Native Plant Salvage Project ask your help at the McLane Creek Nature Trail on Wednesday, July 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Volunteers will trim plants and remove weeds along the trail. This event occurs rain or shine. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes or boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Stream Team and WSU Native Plant Salvage Project will provide gloves and tools. Pizza will also be provided! -30-
