Community preparedness will be the focus of the Faith Communities Disaster Planning Workshop on Monday, July 29 from 7-9 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Olympia at 1224 Legion Way SE. The workshop, sponsored by Thurston County Emergency Management, offers an opportunity for faith communities to plan for emergencies and partner with local emergency management officials in community disaster planning.
