Thurston County Veterans' Advisory Board Meets Apr. 20
Regular meeting on Monday at Public Health and Social Services Building in Olympia

The Thurston County Veterans' Advisory Board will meet on Monday, April 20 at 6 p.m. at the Public Health and Social Services Building in Olympia on Lilly Road.

The meeting agenda includes discussion on the Thurston County Commitment to Serving Veterans Conference that will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at the Labor & Industries Headquarters Auditorium in Tumwater. The agenda also includes a public comment period, a short presentation on the Homes First! organization, discussion of the advisory board's non-profit planning, and a discussion of the schedule for reviewing the submittals for the shelter contract request for proposals.

The purpose of the Veterans' Advisory Board is to advise the Thurston County Board of County Commissioners on the needs of local indigent veterans, the resources available to local indigent veterans, and programs that could benefit the needs of local indigent veterans and their families.
