Late Property Tax Payment Reminders Mailed
OLYMPIA – On Thursday, June 18th the Treasurer's Office mailed reminder postcards to property owners who have not paid their 2020 first half property taxes. Because payment is now past due the amount shown to the right of the 11 digit property number on the front of the postcard is the 2020 first half amount due, if paid by June 30, 2020.

Property taxes can be paid through the Thurston County Treasurer’s web site at No fee is charged for the electronic check payment option on-line. Taxpayers can also pay their property taxes on-line with a major credit card for a 2.35% transaction fee or with a Visa Debit card for a flat fee of $3.95.

Payments can also be made over the phone by calling our office at 360-786-5550 or dropped off at the courthouse parking lot drop box located at 2000 Lakeridge Drive SW, Building One, Olympia, 98502. For credit card or debit card payments made over the phone the same fees apply. Our office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday.

Payments made by mail must be postmarked by June 30, 2020 to avoid additional late charges. There is no grace period after the tax due date. In accordance with state law (RCW 84.56.020) late charges are added to the taxes due for any payment made after the due date.​
