Thurston County facilities are now open to the public with restrictions, including maintaining physical distancing of at least six feet at all times and, per the Washington State Secretary of Health’s face covering order wearing a cloth face covering or mask. If you come to county facilities, please be prepared for potentially long wait times or lines due to distancing guidelines. We continue to encourage residents to access county services online, by phone, by email, or through the use of drop boxes located outside of county buildings.

Electronic Real Estate Excise Tax Affidavits

​The Thurston County Treasurer's Office began accepting eReet transactions through a partnership with a company named Simplifile on January 15, 2019. Anyone with an account set up at https://simplifile.com can submit all the required documents and pay all the required taxes and fees electronically through the Simplifile portal.

On August 15, 2019 the Thurston County Treasurer's Office began accepting eReet transactions through a second partnership with a company named CSC eRecording. Anyone with an account set up at https://www.erecording.com can submit all the required documents and pay all the required taxes and fees electronically through the CSC eRecording portal.
