Thurston County Elections Offering Observer Training ahead of April Special Election
OLYMPIA – Thurston County Auditor's Elections Division is offering observer training for the April 26, 2022 Special Election. The training will be held over Zoom on April 7, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.  
Ballot processing is monitored on site by trained observers appointed by the Republican and Democratic parties and independent observers. We are committed to ensuring ballot processing is open and transparent. Observer training covers election procedure and observer policy. Training is mandatory for observers appointed by their political party. However, the training is also open to the public.
